About The Intuitive Psychology Academy
We are a small UK based business passionate about improving the relationship that folks have with their bodies and food. We work with folks of all shapes, sizes and genders to support them in breaking down the barriers that the diet industry puts up.
Combining our passion for debunking diet culture with our knowledge of psychology and intuitive eating, we aim to provide therapy and educational resources for folks who have spent their whole life tormented by the diet industry.
Meet The Team
We’re a small business, and we like it that way! It allows us to get to know our clients and give them the attentive support they deserve.
Dr Sara Dowsett is a Counselling Psychologist, a Certified Intuitive Eating Therapist and the founder of The Intuitive Psychology Academy.
After over a decade of education and experience of working with a wide breadth of psychological presentations, Sara decided to focus on an area she was most passionate about… Body Image Psychology and the anti-diet movement.
With the Intuitive Psychology Academy, she aims to tackle the issues that are at the root of the diet industry, while providing folks with psycho-education and therapeutic interventions to support them in their journey to healing their relationship with their body and food.
